The final results of Botox tend to vary from person to person. Factors that determine this include the person’s skin, the skill level and experience of the cosmetic surgeon, the area to be injected, and the number of times the person has already been injected with Botox in the past. The most important factor is the person administering the Botox shot. Best results will be achieved if you hire an experienced Botox injector. Get someone who knows what he or she is doing and has been in the business for several years already. The right injection includes knowing where to inject, how much to inject, and the right needle to use. It will also determine whether or not you will experience some side effects.
Results of Botox treatment Results for most patients can be seen after a few days. In extreme cases, though, they can take up to two weeks for full effect. The results usually last for four months, but this can sometimes stretch up to eight months. The longer you have been using Botox treatment, the longer the results will last. There seems to be no major variations in results for patients of different ages; anyone from 18 to 65 can have treatment. The only difference would be that the younger you are, the less likely you will need Botox given that your skin is not yet as wrinkled as, say, someone 20 years older. Skin color also not an issue. A fair-skinned patient can expect more or less the same results as a dark-skinned patient.
